So today the 27th Jun, EVA 2.0 is premiering in Japan. No, im not in Japan and I’m only getting responses/replies on /a/ since 7am (that would be Japan 8am time). Not sure if you want spoilers, but review is already up at http://www.otaku2.com.
I’m not an EVA hard-core fan, but I do watch Evangelion. From the posted infos on /a/ since this morning (before otaku2 review update), its reported like theres a major change in the rebuild EVA movies, at least on EVA2.0.
At 1st I though it was just some trolling attempt (mentioning cooking, dere-dere and someone dies) by anon who claimed posting some direct translation from 2ch, together with some snapshots of freebies that you get/buy prior the screening.
Im pretty sure most of you people already aware of the new character Mari, and Kaworu will be appearing much sooner than the TV series. I wont be spoiling anything here because I didnt watch it yet, but from the thread replies on /a/, Rei and Asuka fans are getting butthurt.
Way to go Anno (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞
EVA 3.0 may be in 2years time.

Just so everyone know, Cathay Cinema will be bringing this over to our shore in Q1 2010.
well, at least its faster than the dvd/bd release (i guess)
