Fuel Price Hike = KL Havoc

Today Malaysian Government has decided to pull some of our fuel subsidy effectively tomorrow. And guess what? Whole Kuala Lumpur, or should I say whole Malaysia went into havoc. Everyone is flooding the petrol station in sight and has caused a massive traffic jam everywhere. It took me friggin 1hr+ to reach home when my office is just 13km away from home (╬ ಠ益ಠ)

I have yet check out the full story/report on this as of yet. But taken away some of provided subsidy would mean a hike in fuel price for us motorist.

Up until today, we Malaysian has been paying RM1.92 for a liter of fuel. Thats around usd0.65. Effectively tomorrow it will be RM2.70 per liter with RM0.78 hike.

THANK YOU GOVERNMENT

haha i had to take routes that totally avoids petrol stations when going home
every main road that has a petrol station is totally jammed up

well there’s a RM600 rebate thing per year, to offset the increase, but cars lower than 2000cc
so for big cars…good luck 😛

Every week? Jeebus. I might resort to riding scooter if the fuel price gets wackier than this.
