Meidos at your doorstep?

Woke up early Sunday morning, browse some internets, and got stumbled upon Toshiba’s new marketing effort on DC.com. I see Meidos.. 3 of em..

Whats interesting here is that Toshiba is hiring some maids, where it seems they go to target place, hijack, do some cleaning and show how Toshiba new Quie vacuum can do the job.

The marketing idea by hijacking someone’s place and do your demo is not new as im pretty much sure you can watch similar ads on your TV. But the fact that Toshiba is using maids, this is not common :3

Not only that, Toshiba even made an effort to established their own dedicated Maid Channel here for the campaign.

While still on Maid appearing at your doorstep topic, you may want to check out J-Drama 81-Diver. There you have a maid who appears at your doorstep, excels in Shogi, and doesnt afraid of anything.

I did ask a friend in Japan regarding maid-to-hire-in-costume service (refering to 81 diver), and indeed there are such thing in Japan, although you may not get maids like these щ(゚Д゚щ)

@P-san: 81diver is a live action shounen powerups. Some ppl may dislike it for trolling acting, but i find it watchable and funny in a way.
